Nsilulu comes from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and he is an experienced engineer with more than eight years’ working experience. He holds a BEng and a Licence (equivalent to an honour degree) in electromechanics from the University of Lubumbashi, DRC. He also has a BEng Honours and a Master’s of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pretoria (UP), South Africa. For his master’s degree, Nsilulu developed a novel approach of controlling and optimising the energy consumption of the electrical system in the framework of real-time electricity pricing for commercial building.  Tresor has extended his previous research into his PhD research at UP, where he is looking into the novel approach of optimising future energy consumption when renewable energies are integrated. Based on his PhD research work, Tresor scooped a prestigious award from the German government towards his participation in the Green Talents International Forum. Nsilulu is an active member of the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers. He is also a born-again Christian, and he “loves worshipping Father, Son and the Holy Spirit”.
